June 8th thru the 13th were astonishing days in the community of New Braja! (Badger, California, USA)

This transcendental “Holy Tirtha” is where Srila Gurudeva would come every year and bless all in attendance with his beautiful Harikatha and loving presence.  This year marked the 15th annual festival of Bhakti in New Braja.  Srila Gurudeva loved so much to come here and gave wonderful discourses on purebhakti tattva, and especially transcendental narrations of Braja Lilas. He has transformed this community, melted everyone’s heart, and named this “New Braja Dham”.
Althought this was the first year that Srila Gurudeva has not physically attended, and some devotees did not come due to his separation or fears that disharmony may be present without his transcendental guidance, all devotees were blessed by his transcendental loving presence!  This was deeply experienced by all!

There was so much enthusiasm to prepare for the festival by so many, especially youthful Vaisnavas. Also, to daily manage all the needful responsiblities, so much enthusiasm, respectful, and loving participation was generated by so many! (the list would be too lengthy at this time)

So many devotees assisted in the wonderful facilites for so many guests. Especially the cooks in the kitchen to provide wonderful prasadam for all devotees.

So many sannyasi’s, senior Srila Prabhupada and senior Gurudeva disciples were in attendence. Wonderful classes of simultaneous separation and meeting, deeply penetrated the hearts of all. Tears and laughter abounded with each speaker!

Each evening a short video was shown of previous classes of Srila Gurudeva, that reminded all of how fortunate we were to be in his wonderful association, and participate in the ecstatic Braja moods he generated !
The kirtans were so joyful with so much ecstatic dancing and loud singing into the late night!

The annual Govardhan Anukuta Festival was well attended as usual, with over 600 offerings to Giriraja! … (where Srila Gurudeva installed Giriraja, Radhakunda and Syamakunda, previously)  And the offerings were enthusiastically carried by all the devotees chanting Harinam and “Jaya Giriraja, Jaya Govardhan”! Then lovingly placed at Govardhan and a beautiful abhiseka was performed to Sri Sri Radha-Krsna and Giriraja-silas headed by Sripad Madhava Maharaja, Sripad Tirtha Maharaja, and Sripad Padmanabha Maharaja and others!
On the weekend an estimated 600 – 700 devotees attended!
Especially experienced was Srila Gurudeva’s “Heartly Blessings”! This penetrated all hearts with so much love and affection. May the transcendental waves of Purebhakti Srila Gurudeva generated at this festival circle the entire world and sanga!
Many, many thanks to all the devotees who participated to help in this festival and to all who attended!  (Special mention to Umarani didi and Syamarani didi & so many!)
